Overall hotel was not bad, but there were ants in the bathroom and in the bed, also it was too cold in the rooms.

First the good: The hotel is in an excellent location in Coronado, perfect for everything local. The staff was all friendly and strived to provide a good experience. There aren’t really any amenities at the hotel so it’s really just front desk and cleaning staff (I chose not to have my room cleaned during my stay). The bad: The hotel is tired. All of the furniture needed to be replaced a decade ago. The room was as clean as it could be, but everything is worn and stained. The rooms themselves are dark with very low ceilings and just generally unpleasant to be in. The bathrooms were no different, everything was old and had grime and dirt buildup. Water pressure was terrible. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again unless the hotel was completely renovated.

I love the Coronado Beach Resort! The location to the beach is amazing! It is walking distance to all the restaurants and shops! I wish I was there more than just once a year!!!!

Very friendly staff and helpful.. Bikes available hot tub,sauna on roof deck No pool .. was given access to other hotel. But great location for stores restaurants and historical hotels .. beach just one block away..

Great for what you paid. Excellent location, great amenities to use at the resort, using their shuttle (always on time). I will stay here next time.

We've loved CBR, since it opened - our children grew up coming here and it continues to be one of our very favorite places to holiday.

If you just need a bed to sleep in this property is fine. The people are very friendly and the location can't be beat. Just be prepared as there are no to limited services at the hotel. No beverages, no food, no pool, so you have to leave the property for everything. Avoid room 311, very poorly laid out and uncomfortable for an extended stay.

I appreciate the quiet of this place. Always have. I enjoyed the parrot in the lobby as a kid and still do now as an adult. I just stayed this week for the first time in many years. Consistent and good service
